How do I change my
password?
First you have to login
here using your current or temporary password. Once you're
logged in, click on "My Account". You should see your account
information displayed. In the section that displays your Account
information, look at the line under your email address that
says Password. Click on the link next to Password
that says [Click here to reset password]. Follow
instructions to reset password.
How can I view the
reports I purchased?
Unless you are a monthly subscriber reports are viewable for
7 full days after the first time you viewed it. Monthly subscribers
receive unlimited report storage as long as subscription is
active. Reports can also be sent via email if you select that
add-on option (this is free for monthly subscribers).
If it has been less than 7 days since you first
viewed a report, or you are a monthly subscriber and want to
view your reports again simply login to your account and and
click on the "My Orders & Reports" link at the
top of the page. Upon expiration of your subscription, any report
older than 7 days will be removed.
Can I pay by mail
or fax?
If you are uncomfortable making a payment on the internet,
please know that we go through great lengths to secure all transactions.
Credit card numbers and encrypted with the highest standards.
We use a dedicated server behind a secure firewall for transaction
processing. We also use a Comodo Trust SSL Certificate which
includes $10,000 in insurance against your credit card info
being compromised.
Even with all the precautions we have in place,
if you still want to mail a check or money order, you can. If
you want a subscription please be sure to include the payment
for the subscription requested. VIP subscription and the special
discounted pricing associated with it require a 3 month minimum.
Send payment for searches along with the $83.91 for 3 month
VIP membership. You can also include additional funds to put
on your account which you can draw from during check out.
There is an additional $7.00 charge for setting
up an account via mail (please be sure to submit the correct
funds). Once we receive your payment your transaction will be
processed and placed in your online account. No reports
will be sent via fax or mail. Payments can not currently
be sent by fax.
If you can get online to read this, you can
receive your report from the web site. When mailing a in payment
for searches, you must set up your online account first.
During the checkout process, select [Payment by Mail]. Be sure
to print out the online order form and include the email address
you used when you setup your online account. PLEASE
NOTE: You must register with A1peoplesearch.com and
place an order online and select payment by mail, then you can

What is CCV or CVV2
Code (aka Credit Card Security code)?
The Security code (CCV - Card Code Verification or CIC - Card
Identification Code) is the last three digits of the code on
the back signature line of a Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card.
It is also the 4 digit code on the front of an American Express
Card. This code is required to make an online purchase. This
code tells our bank that you have the card in your possession
as it is verified with the processing center as a form of fraud
protection. If you're not sure where to find this number, click

How do I print a report?
To print reports simply use the print link found at the top
right of all reports. If you're having trouble you can also
use click "file" then "print" from your internet browser
function.
If a report is too wide for your paper it is
using the "portrait format" setting. Try switching to the "Landscape
format" or use the print to size button in your print preferences
dialog box. You can also try to copy and paste the data into
a spreadsheet program like MS Excel. All reports are designed
to print on standard paper, however in the rare event your report
does not fit, using a "Landscape format" should fit
reports into one page that are too wide for normal printing.
What is Included
with a Background Report?
A1PeopleSearch.com provides instant and comprehensive Background
Searches that can include a national background check, national
criminal records search and other reports as detailed on the
background check search pages. Please click on a particular
search page to review all information.
Can I search for
people in other countries?
Most instant access online searches are designed to locate individuals
that have established residency in the USA. We do offer delayed
"hand assisted searches" for reverse address and reverse phone
searches in other countries but not online. Should you have
special search need, please contact

Do you offer a subscription
service?
Yes, A1PeopleSearch.com offers four (4) levels of
subscription services.
- A 24 hour pass - for a one time fee of
$3.97 you receive 10% off all published prices purchased during
the 24 hour period.
- A 3 day pass - for a one time fee of $7.97
you receive 20% off all published prices purchased during
the 72 hour period.
- A 1 week pass - for a one time fee
of $17.97 you receive 30% off all published prices purchased
for the entire week. The 7 days pass is valid for 168
consecutive hours from purchase date/time.
- A VIP Monthly
Subscription - is a recurring subscription
of $27.97 and provides 50% off the published
rates on all qualified purchases. This is a recurring fee
that requires 30 day cancellation. The $27.97
monthly fee is billed on the same day every month from the
date you subscribed. The monthly subscription
also includes unlimited report archival, storage and retrieval
to all purchased reports for as long as your subscription
remains active. Monthly subscribers will also have access
to monthly specials and promotions only available

How do I edit my
billing or payment information?
To edit your billing or payment information please
login to your account here.
Once you have logged in, click on the "My Account" link. This
page displays your Account information. To review Payment details
click on the link next to Payment Preferences. Make appropriate
changes. Click on Update Information when done and your account
will be updated.
How do I login or
sign in to view my account?
Go to the login
page here then enter your email address. Make sure the "I
Registered, my password is:" button is selected then enter your
password and click the "Continue" button.
How do I edit my

See process above to Login. Once you have logged in, click on
the "My Account" link. If you are logged in properly, this page
will display your Account information and details. Make the
appropriate changes then click continue when finished. Your
changes should be saved.
What Credit Cards
or payment types do you accept?
We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, AMEX and Discover. You
can also make your purchase with a Visa or MasterCard "check
card" or a debit card (with Visa or MasterCard Logo on the back).
Payments can also be made from your checking account using our
Electronic Check payment (simply enter your checking account
information in our online secure payment system).
Do you accept International
Credit Cards?
We can only accept payment from credit cards issued
in the USA or Canada. We do not currently accept payment from
other international credit cards online due to security and
fraud protective purposes. If you do not have a US or Canadian
based credit card you can still register your account online,
then use the Mail in Payment option.
You can mail in a cashiers check or money order
in USD, payable to A1PeopleSearch. Once we receive your payment
your transaction will be processed and you will be able to login
and obtain your reports. You can use the mail in option to request
one search or send a deposit to keep funds on your account so
you can perform additional searches when needed.

register with A1peoplesearch.com then place an order online
and select mail in payment. Once your payment is received your

Are you able to search
for e-Mail Addresses?
The information A1PeopleSearch systems access is aggregated
directly from public and publicly available records. Most email
addresses are not public record but some are publicly available.
Currently we do not have a email search available, but check
back in the future as new tools are always being created.
How current is your
data?
The A1PeopleSearch system accesses a variety of public
and publicly available records. As you can imagine, the sources
of data are infinite. Some include County offices, Court houses,
and other government offices. Others sources include giant data
aggregators and various reporting agencies. Many reporting agencies
and public records resources can sometimes be slow to update
information. Since we obtain information from various resources
our systems are as current as they are. The actual updates are
out of our control but the data is the most currently available
data. We do not use outdated old databases.
Most of the databases are updated weekly or
monthly, and some are updated daily and the reverse phone lookup
tool is updated in real-time. When new records are added to
a database, all the old information is kept in archives for
cross referencing, making the data much more comprehensive.
Is the search confidential
or is anyone notified I searched for them?
No one is notified that you are using A1Peoplesearch.com, including
the person you are searching for.
How do I create

Is there a charge
to setup an Account?
No. You are not charged for setting up an account. The only
time you will be charged by A1PeopleSearch is when you confirm
a charge on the check out page when making a purchase or by
subscribing to one of our packages.
Is there still a
fee for criminal record search if the person does not have a
criminal record?
Yes, you are charged regardless of whether the individual searched
upon has a criminal record or not as we are charged for searching
through the billions of records to confirm this for you. Not
all individuals have a criminal record. The point of purchasing
a Criminal Check is to see if an individual has a criminal record
or not.
There are some instances where you may feel a person
has a criminal record, but the public records system shows "No
Records Found" and no criminal offenses were listed. There
are several explanations and instances where an individual may
not have a criminal record available from a public records system:
1. The person has never been convicted of a crime.
(An arrest does not necessarily create a criminal record;
an individual must be convicted of a crime to have a criminal
record in some states).
2. The criminal records have been expunged, or sealed and
are no longer public (minors or pleas).
3. The criminal records have not yet been updated in the public
records database. (Updates can take
several months and vary by court house).
4. The actual criminal record is in a different state.
5. The criminal offenses are under a different name/DOB or
different spelling of the name.
What is skip tracing?
“Skip trace” is an investigative term meaning “locate
people and businesses”. It does not always imply that
people have “skipped" town, although sometimes this
is the case. A skip trace may include a search for people who
witnessed an accident, are recipients of unclaimed funds, or
want to reunite family members. In general, “skip tracing”
covers any legitimate reason to find someone.

record?
A public record is information gathered and maintained by a
governmental agency which is, by law, available to the general
public. The federal Freedom of Information Act and similar state
legislation governs what is considered public record. Typically
tax returns, credit information, medical records, employment
records and financial records are not usually available via
public record.

In addition to public record, A1 people search provides access
