Tips for Better Search Results
Name - Enter first name, last name or full
name of your subject (searching by first name or last name only may produce
many records). Enter most likely first name or nick name if subject could have
been booked or convicted using an alias or nickname. Note that entering Michael
or Bob without a last name or entering common names without a case number could
produce many results.
Case - If you know the case number we
suggest you enter it here. Leaving this field blank will produce the broadest
possible results but may contain too many records. If you know and enter the
case number that will ensure you receive the best possible match.
County - Select a County in California by
using the drop down box. We suggest you start by selecting "All CA
Counties" only if the name is not very common which will produce
the broadest possible results.
NOTE: If the name you enter is
a common name (i.e. John Smith) and you don't have a case number it would be
wise to select one county at a time in order to try and narrow down your
results.
